Alone Together
A play written by Simon Williams & directed by Tam Williams
Starring Lucy Fleming, Simon Williams, Joseph Timms & Amy Chambers
Driven by the loneliness of a dismal marriage to Colin, Angela finds comfort in a chance meeting - (was it really chance?) - with Jonty a young novelist. But they each have secrets to protect and we can see that both of them are lying. As their fantasies begin to overlap, the friendship becomes overshadowed by Tilly, supposedly his girlfriend. Is Jonty stealing her secret life or is she stealing his? Either way they are both going crazy as the truth begins to dawn. With surprising consequences Colin steps in, forcing Angela to face the past sadness in their lives. Perhaps after all the marriage is not beyond redemption.
